Thanks to support from the Fete & Games and Dirleton Market on the
Green, the Village Scarecrow Competition is back!

This year’s competition will run for 3 weeks

Key Dates are:

• Scarecrows completed and displayed: from 7th October
• Judging: 9th or 10th October
• Scarecrows taken down: by 28th October

Prizes will be awarded across the following 3 categories:

• The Scarecrows that Made the Judges Smile the Most
• Best Traditional or Harvest Scarecrows
• Best Book, Film or TV Character Scarecrows

Our Scarecrow Trails attract hundreds of visitors from across East Lothian, so we hope to see lots of you – of all ages – joining in the fun again to help create another memorable Trail.
