AMPHIBIANS & REPTILES
FRUIT & VEGETABLE CARVING
COMPETITION 2025
If you’re not a baker – or you want to enter more than one competition – why not enter the Fruit & Vegetable Carving Competition!
The competition is open to entries from adults & children and will be judged in three age categories: aged 10 & under; aged 11-15 and aged 16+/adult.
This year the theme of the competition is ‘Amphibians & Reptiles’, so why not get arty and create a fruit frog, a cucumber snake, a watermelon turtle – or anything you fancy, with any fruit or vegetable you fancy, so long as your creation is an amphibian or reptile!
How the competition works:
- You can create any amphibian or reptile you like, using any fruit(s) or vegetable(s) you like.
- Maximum of 2 entries per person; there is no limit to how many people from one household can enter –
- the more the merrier!
- All entries must be brought to the Tea Tent by 1.45pm on the day (Sat 21st June).
- Entry is free.
- Judging will be undertaken by local veg growers True Roots, and prizes or medals will be awarded to all 1st, 2nd and 3rd place entries. Winners will be announced, and prizes handed out, in the Tea Tent at about 2.30pm.
HAPPY CARVING!
