Membership Notice
Notice is hereby given that there is a vacancy for a member of Gullane Area Community Council to represent the Dirleton area. The Community Council proposes to fill this as a casual vacancy after due publication, in accordance with the procedure specified in Article 11 of the East Lothian Scheme for Community Councils as approved by the Secretary of State for Scotland on 26 April 1976 and subsequently amended in 2004, 2008 and 2012 (“the Scheme”). Any person wishing to be considered to fill the vacancy, and who meets the criteria for membership set out in Article 11 of the Scheme, is invited to notify the Community Council to this effect by email addressed to the Secretary at gaccsecretary@gmail.com within 21 days of this date.
