Dirleton is a small conservation village in East Lothian, approximately 20 miles east of Edinburgh just off the A198, between the coastal towns of Gullane and North Berwick. It has a population of approximately 500. There are several exits from the A1 from the south and north that link up to the A198 and Dirleton.
It is surrounded by agricultural land, and is a short distance from the Firth of Forth coast and the famous beach of Yellowcraig.
